They Mean Us
ApplicantOur last show in SA before we left for LA. Unfortunately the show was plagued with tuning and sound problems, but the set did culminate with a rousing rendition of "Red Wire" featuring Zach on guitar for old time's sake.

Get Serious
Not The GovernmentAlthough it was our second to last San Antonio show, we prefer to think of this as our last San Antonio show. Despite the fact that the bass keyboard decided not to function right before we went on, resulting in us having to drastically alter our setlist, we managed, with the help of our new soundman Jakob, to play what we consider to be one of our best shows ever.

This Horn Of Afrika
Mike Alvarez
Weston (no doubt full up on Lone Star and Jay's cheap whiskey) of Full Blown Aids infamy decided to bring a little Full Blown Aids-style madness to our set. He tackled Jay mid-song (watch that here) which was followed by Jay throwing his drums everywhere and his shoes at the audience. One shoe flew to the back of the room and shattered a glass frame. Show over.

Them Shakes
Dance Of Days
Symphony For The DeafThis is a pretty cool place for shows despite the cavernous acoustics, silly name, and surly owners. The Graces were awesome and even added a few covers to their set for their last show. Wilton walked in on the singer from Reader in the bathroom where they shared a moment. First time "In The Name Of Fear" was played live.
Seeing Is Not Believing / Obelisk / After The Before / Suicide Is Illegal / The Limits Of Desire / In The Name Of Fear / Brainwash The Tiger

Secret Weapons
The Black FridayThis marks the first occasion on which we were asked to pay to play. Apparently The Venue is avoided like a disease, so no one went to this show, and when we arrived the club owners were anxious to call it a night, so the proposition was made. We found it necessary to decline, but we did get the chance to see the end of Druggist's set.

You Make EngineJanis Joplin reincarnated/cloned (self described) introduced herself to us outside of the club and invited us to hot dogs, oranges, apples, chips, etc. down at the park. Brian immediately seized the opportunity to escape after referring her to tyler with a "he looks hungry" comment as he walked away. inside Wilton having noticed a sign outside, asked to be served Austin's best burger, and was rudely declined his rightfully due band burger, on account of the kitchen closing after 6. lame.

I Kill Cars
The StrandsThis show was pretty cool, our audience called out encore until we ran out of songs, and were forced to play our Joy Division set from the indie 80's show. Drunks climbed on stage and almost completely shattered the front window of the club. A very nasty crack remains at the bottom of the window.

For the second time a few of our underage fans were forced to watch our set through a big window behind the stage due to stupid age restrictions. After our set the night turned into one big jam session with people from all the bands taking turns on various instruments.
